We are super proud to have Candy Dream in Closed Beta and seeing all the reaction from people playing the game has been wonderful. That said, we are still planning a ton of great new content that will be incorporated in the game as we keep updating Candy Dream. What are some of those things? Our Studio Director, Christian Arca, talked with the fine folks at InsideSocialGames about where Candy Dream is and what is coming next.
Revealed in the article is that new decorations is something we’ll be seeing as some new ingredients and recipes. Another cool thing discussed was the ethos behind Candy Dream. Check this except from the interview portion:
“Everything in Candy Dream has a touch of magic,” says Christian Arca, Studio Director at Toy Studio and designer of the game. “When we were kids, Candy Land and Willy Wonka is where we think candy comes from. That sense of surrealism is something we wanted to bring to Candy Dream. From the fully customizable avatar editor to the candy crops that grow out of the ground, we want players to be constantly surprised at the sparks of magic and what they’ll discover next.”
