Toy Studio started by developing games for Facebook and, since we spend most of our days on Facebook, we find things we like. Then with “Like” what we like. It might sound strange, but it is the only way we know how to survive anymore. These are just a few of the things that all of us agree are the coolest things going on this week. – (The Toy Studio room)

We jam out when we work and before Turntable, most of us were listening to our internet radio site like Pandora or all by our lonesome. What Turntable has done is make the act of listening to music more social by letting each person get their turn being the DJ. You can play off your friends last song or switch up styles completely. If you want to rock out with us, be sure to stop in our room and put a few records on for us to bop along to.

Nook Color

We just released our first Nook Color game Hangman, which we are so happy to see people enjoying, and we are currently developing new games to bring to the device as you read this. If you haven’t seen or held one of the Nook Colors, you need to check it out. It is an incredibly¬†capable Android powered tablet device that does more than just read books (like play Hangman).

Mayra’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

Seriously, just look at how delicious these look. Thank you for not only baking cookies, but bringing in enough to share with the entire class.

E3 Coverage

Every single person at Toy Studio loves games and there isn’t a bigger video games love fest than E3. The Electronic Entertainment Expo always begins in the early part Summer in downtown Los Angeles. It was all anyone was talking about last week and now it is spilling into this week. Nobody from our studio attended this year but, with all the live streams with interviews and demos, it was a spectacle to behold.
