It’s Friday and that means that the NOOK Color App Store has updated! This week, we launched Words in Color. Words in Color plays like a traditional word game with a colorful twist and we mean colorful in the most literal sense possible. You are given a color goal at the top of the screen and it is your mission to spell words in the word grid and hit your color goal.
There are two different modes to play. The first is a classic mode that will let you play for as long as you like all the way up to over 50 levels. The second mode is Blitz mode that will put your word fixing and color mixing skills to the test. You’ll only have a limited amount of time and you’ll need to rack up as high of score as possible.
As you play the game, stats and highscores will be tracked so you can look at your best rounds and highest multipliers. Personally, this is one of those games where you set out to play one round and find the clock has zoomed ahead a couple of hours once I come up for air. The best part, for a limited time, the App will be 99 cents on the NOOK Color.

Do you realize that you have absolutely NO letter m ever? I’m on level 72 and I have yet to see an M.
I am very frustrated, to say the least. Can you fix this oversight?

Hi Mary – The boards are randomly generated so there is the slight statistical possibility of never seeing one of the letters. However, it is strange you haven’t seen a single “M” so we’ll take a look at it.
