The first game we launched on the NOOK Color was Hangman in June of 2011. Since then, we launched 22 additional apps to the Barnes and Noble NOOK App Store. Many of them, including Hangman, have been on the top of the charts and something we are all very thankful for. We’ve gotten many heart warming notes from players just wanting to let us know they really enjoy our games. We also keep getting a lot of wonderful suggestions for our games. This is all because, in part, to taking that first step with releasing Hangman.
Hangman will always hold a special place in our collective hearts since it put us on the path to mobile development. After creating and bringing new games and experiences to the NOOK Color (and now NOOK Tablet), we’re revisiting Hangman and creating an all new game based on TV trivia. You’ll need to know your shows and celebrities so the little man doesn’t get caught by the hangman and sent to the scrambled channel in the sky.
