UPDATE: The fix is now available for the NOOK Color and NOOK Tablet. Please check for updates on your device to make sure you are playing Version 6.0 or above.

We got a lot of emails over the past few days about a problem with the NOOK version of Mahjong Solitaire force closing the app. We’ve looked into the issue and found a fix for the issues we are able to fix. We submitted an update last night and it is now in the Barnes & Noble approval process. Once it goes through that process, anyone playing Mahjong Solitaire on the NOOK should see the update available.

The one issue we were unable to fix deals with the Highscore screen and entering your name on the NOOK Tablet. The reason is because there is a bug with the NOOK Tablet itself. Here are the replication steps so you can try it yourself-

1. Finish a game and get a highscore

2. Tap the spot to enter your name

3. Press the shift key and then tap any letter

The game will then freeze. This is a bug we discovered with the web browser technology on the NOOK Tablet that we make use of on Mahjong Solitaire. We have sent the replication steps to the appropriate people so it will get looked at.
