At the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, tech companies gathered and showed off their stuff to waves of business owners, investors, developers, fans, press and enthusiasts at TechWeek. As you might have guessed, we were there showing off our games!

We had games of Word Off! being played, certainly, but we also debuted a few new games that you’ll be hearing more about soon. The first game is the follow-up to Word Off! We’re going a different direction this time. That direction is up into space! Battle Off!: In Spaaaace will feature turn-based space battles with different races from across the universe.

The other game is someone we’ve been working on with another developer Mojo Bones, as a co-production. It’s called The Curse and will have your brain doing gymnastics with all the riddles, puzzles and challenges it throws at players. The puzzle start out difficult and get more difficult until the very final puzzle. Those that played it at TechWeek were tantalized by the just out-of-reach solutions and wanted to beat The Curse and stop the mysterious Mannequin.

You’ll be hearing and seeing more information about these games very soon!

If you want to see the sights and sounds of TechWeek, a fellow Chicago game developer, Ross Przybylski, who was working the game booth next to us toured the entire IGDA selection of games and talked with us and other Chicago game developers about the games we were showing.
